PRO

Offers “fast and free” phone estimates.

CON

Franchised locations do not offer the same options across the board.

Cost

Costs vary widely when it comes to wildlife management depending on the specific project, location, and methods required for removal. For example, a project that requires extensive trapping and cleanup for multiple animals will be more labor intensive and costly than a single animal that needs to be removed from your home. Any wildlife removal will require specialized care that can become costly depending on the damage and size of the animal. Because of this, most companies do not give you pricing options on their websites.

Some customers said they felt Critter Control’s pricing was on the higher side for the services they sought. With Critter Control being a franchised company, not every location offers on-site initial inspection, but they do offer over the phone estimates. We were able to gather some estimates below for common wildlife removal, based out of Nashville, Tennessee:

Inspection

Critter Control’s base cost for inspections is $129, which includes the perimeter of your property, the crawl space, and your attic if it is accessible. Through this inspection, the technicians can determine where the animal is causing damage around your home and where they might be coming to eat, sleep or otherwise.

Trapping

Critter Control offers trapping as a 10- to 14-day session during which they set traps in the best areas determined by their inspection, return to remove or re-set the trap, and continue to monitor the situation to make sure the animals have been removed. This session costs $489.

Cleanup

Though we don’t have a quote for cleanup costs, Critter Control technicians note that this will vary depending on the extent of the damage. Removing poop and cleaning up urine will be a different cost from any repairs that need to be made, such as if the animal has gotten into an opening in your home or scratched and ruined any part of your household.

Financing Options

Critter Control partners with AMS Financial to provide home improvement loans if you’re in need of servicing that may be outside of your current budget. The loans allow you to pay your fees over a period of time, so you can ensure your problem is taken care of as soon as possible.
